Galfand Berger, LLP
Helping Injured People Since 1947
Over 70 Years of Helping Injured People
What happens if you or someone you love is hurt at work, in an accident, or harmed by defective products? These injuries can have devastating consequences for your life. Your health, your job, your family, and your security are all at risk.
For years, your rights have been under attack by big business and insurance companies. They have used clever campaigns to convince the public that there is a civil justice system that needs reform, frivolous lawsuits, runaway jury members, and a civil justice system that is in dire need of reform.
Too many people have bought into the corporate spin. Your rights as a worker, accident victim, and patient slowly erode. For the most difficult challenges in life, you need a law firm. Galfand Berger helps injured people. We have been doing it since 1947.
Our firm is proud to restore dignity and security to those who have been injured by automobile accidents, defective products or unsafe equipment and machinery, work-place and construction accidents, workers’ comp claims, medical malpractice, and other serious personal injuries.
Galfand Berger attorneys are tireless advocates for our clients. Each case is unique and the outcome will depend on the circumstances. Our firm will fight tirelessly for your rights.
Each case is approached with the same integrity, skill and compassion that our clients deserve. It shows in our results. Galfand Berger has obtained more than a quarter of a billion dollars in settlements in the past decade alone. Here are some cases we have handled in our fight against large corporations, insurance companies, and other negligent parties
When do you need legal help from us?
Accident victims may not know if they require legal advice. For example, employees injured on the job are usually aware that they can file for Workers’ Compensation benefits. However, if someone other than your employer is responsible for your injury, you may be able to sue that “third party.” Examples of a possible third party include a manufacturer of unsafe equipment, a seller of dangerous chemicals, a non-employee car or truck driver, or a contractor or subcontractor working on your employer’s premises. Third party claims allow you to recover damages that are not covered by Workers’ Compensation.
In other cases, car accident victims think they must take what the insurance company offers them. The confusion of insurance policies and coverages has made automobile accidents law a full time study. Accident victims should speak with a lawyer. An experienced lawyer in car accidents can help victims get full compensation from their insurance companies, as well as evaluate and protect their legal rights.
In all of these circumstances, accident victims may be walking away with much less than they deserve. Injured people or their families should never hesitate to seek legal help from experienced, trusted counsel when any of the following circumstances occur:
Work accidents – particularly if they were caused by defective equipment or the negligence of a third-party
Philadelphia Medical Malpractice lawyers – Injury due to medical error – it is a fact of life that healthcare professionals make mistakes
Injury due to defective products or drugs – each year, defective or unsafe products injure thousands of people
Personal injury accidents – Motor vehicle, slip and falls, or any other type of accident that results in injury or death
